Maps of weeding effort for the 2010 - 2011 season

Slashing of Saffron Thistles to 12 Apr 11 [66 ha, including 13 ha re-slashed; 231 hours, including 92 hours scything]

Note that the slashed areas vary widely in the density of saffrons they contained, from very light in the Dam paddock to extremely dense in the Kama paddock. The areas indicate areas where at least one pass of slashing has taken place and saffrons cut if they were there. Areas where new growth and re-growth has been slashed are also shown (solid shading).
