Joint ParkCare Display at Jamison Centre

Friends of the Pinnacle will join other local ParkCare groups in a joint display at
Jamison Centre in Macquarie to raise community awareness of our fabulous reserves and the amazing opportunities they offer.

Spring Bird Walk

John Brannan will lead a bird walk to observe some of the many resident and migratory bird species that nest at the Pinnacle every year.

Meet at the Dungowan Street entrance, Hawker.

All ages welcome. No bookings needed, just turn up!

Please wear clothing suitable for the weather, sturdy footwear and a hat. Bring water and a camera and binoculars if you wish.

Spring Wildflower Walk

Enjoy a stroll through one of the reserve's loveliest areas of natural vegetation and learn a little about the trees and plants to be found there. This will also be a chance to look at the revegetation work already under way along the Molonglo pipeline excavations.

Meet at the De Salis Street entrance, Springvale Drive, Weetangera

All ages welcome. No bookings needed, just turn up!

Please wear clothing suitable for the weather, sturdy footwear and a hat. Bring water and a camera and binoculars if you wish.

Usually 8-30 am to noon

Contact Bob to receive an email each week confirming that the work party is going ahead (subject to the weather and Bob's availability) and containing details of the time, place and weather outlook.
We usually meet at the PCS notice board near the De Salis St. car park, Weetangera.
