Join John Brannan for a stroll through the lovely woodlands of The Pinnacle Nature
Reserve, looking for some of the local birds as they begin the new nesting season. We may also
encounter some early migrants as they arrive in the reserve to begin their own breeding season.
Some of the walk may be off-track, so wear appropriate shoes or boots. Dress
for the weather and bring your binoculars, camera or both.
Meet at: Dungowan St., Hawker entrance to the reserve

Join John Fitz Gerald as we explore the grasslands of The Pinnacle Nature Reserve.
This new walk (part of the Canberra
Festival of Nature) will include a look at some of our work in revegetating degraded areas of
grassland, as well as some of the reserve’s loveliest patches of native grasses and wildflowers
Some of the walk may be off-track, so wear appropriate shoes or boots. Dress for the
weather and bring some water.

and containing details of the time, place and weather outlook.
The usual meeting place is the noticeboard 200 m northwest along the track leading
from the end of the car park opposite De Salis St. on Springvale Drive, Weetangera.
