Sunday Nov 9Post-burn Forest Walk
09-00 to 11-00 am
Join John Fitz Gerald for a walk through the Red Stringybark (Eucalyptus macrorhyncha)
forest to look at the recovery after the prescribed burn in April. Many of the native groundlayer species are
appearing and the trees and shrubs starting to produce new growth.
Some of the walk may be off-track, so wear appropriate shoes or boots. Dress for the
weather and bring some water.

Join John Brannan for a stroll through the lovely woodlands of The Pinnacle Nature
Reserve, looking for some of the local birds as they begin the new nesting season. We may also
encounter some early migrants as they arrive in the reserve to begin their own breeding season.
Some of the walk may be off-track, so wear appropriate shoes or boots. Dress
for the weather and bring your binoculars, camera or both.

confirming that the work party is going ahead (subject to the weather and Bob's availability)
and containing details of the time, place and weather outlook.
The usual meeting place is the noticeboard 200 m northwest along the track leading
from the end of the car park opposite De Salis St. on Springvale Drive, Weetangera.
