Autumn Events Program See also our regular weekly activities below
This autumn we have a short walks program at
the reserve, but not to be missed.
Please note that numbers are limited and bookings are
essential (see how to
book under details for each event).
Sunday April 19Guided Bird Walk
9 am to 11-30 am
Our Summer visitors are mostly heading off to warmer climes already, but many of the
Winter migrants have arrived, including the gorgeous Scarlet Robins. The migrating honeyeaters are on
the move and many of them will be stopping over at the Pinnacle, either for a brief rest or for a longer
stay over the winter. Join John for a leisurely stroll around the reserve to see how many of the local
residents and migrating species we can spot.
Dress appropriately for the conditions and bear in mind that we may make some off-track
excursions along the way. Bring water and your binoculars and/or camera if you wish.
To register for the walk please contact John Brannan:
convenor@fotpin.org.au tel: 0405 331 405.

This walk is part of a program being run by the Conservation Council to introduce more
Canberrans (and others!) to the joys of nature in Canberra. We are delighted that the Conservation Council
have selected our reserve as one of the venues for this program. The focus of the walk will be on
observing, learning, enjoying nature and socialising with other people.
